I read a great deal on here about leveling the Tahoe and liked the looks of it, so I decided to make that mod. I read various post on here and then visited my local 4 wheel parts store.

Since I would be in need of shocks soon, I decided to skip the leveling kit and go with the Pro Comp Pro Runner shocks that gave a lift to the front end. The box said 2.75" lift, so I bought the 1" rear spacers as well.

Once we got into the box and read the instructions, they stated a 1.75" lift, which puts the truck at almost perfect level when we place a 4 foot level on the running board.

I like the look, so I decided not to put the rear spacers in. I'm happy with how it turned out, and was just wanted to mention this as an alternative way to level the front of the Tahoe.

Now I've got to return the spacers or get 4 million posts so I can list them in the classifieds here!:Insane:

Looks great man. It does look perfectly leveled. Yea the 1" spacer in the rear would've left your Tahoe with a slight rake I think...

I agree. I didn't necessarily want the 2.75 front lift, but was ok with it and adding 1" in the rear. When the shocks turned out to be only 1.75, we decided there was no need for the rear spacer and I got the look I wanted.

Next, the grill guard gets the receiver hitch mounted to it to hold the winch during the hunting months, and the chrome wheels go on with the street tires. I'll keep those stock ones and put the mud tires on them for the winter months.
