I hope it goes as planned too! Hopefully I will not hit any, or not many, unplanned issues.
I think your gonna love the Avalanche. I had an 05 Z71 and loved that truck, but one day got the bug to but a newer truck. Got a good deal on a 13 Silverado but hated the leather seats with no heat and the extended cab road noise. Traded it for a 14 Crew cab and that was nothing but a garage queen. The 4X4 Crew was a bit much to maneuver in parking lots so I went back to a 13 Black Diamond Avalanche. Its great, a tight turning radius and a secure bed to haul most of the things that I do on a weekly basis. The back end-gate drops to give you 8 plus feet to haul and if I have something bigger I have a trailer. Just wish I could improve on the 15.3/15.5 fuel mileage, but hey I have a great riding and looking truck. Enjoy it and stop by Chevy Avalanche Fan Club and show us some pics.

Yeah, I drive an 01 Tahoe now, so this will be a bit of an upgrade. I do wish that the leather seats in this Avalanche were heated. 15.3 is a big improvement from the 11 that I get in my Tahoe right now.

Any issues with your Avalanche? I have not seen anyone complaining about any one thing. Seems to be an overall solid truck.

You could always put heating elements in your seats. They sell aftermarket kits. You could always add them and use factory switches, so they would look original.

So I went after work to start putting on some new parts and they were not delivered yesterday.....Upsetting...Anyways, I need to find a place to order 2 new front seat belts. Anyone know of a good place? I found a site that sells for for like $100 each. Just fishing round a bit before I pull the trigger.

So I snapped 2 more pictures yesterday. The sticker is on the inside of the drivers door. Anyone ever seen it? Is it just from the Z71 package? The other is just of the back seat. Just showing that it is pretty clean.IMG_6278.JPG IMG_6279.JPG

I think a previous owner leveled the truck with Rough Country products. A 2" level in the front at least. Check for spacers under the bottom of the front struts.

Was there leds in the headlight housings? Just curious--why new front seat belts? Did they stretch or get damaged from the accident?

No LEDs in the headlights. When you are in an accident, the seatbelts lock up. They lock in the place that they were in when the accident occured. You have to either replace them or have them rebuilt for them to function again.

I never knew that. That kind of sux about the belts. Looked like there was an led plugged into the harness that's on the back seat floor.

Oh yeah, that came out of the fog lights. I forgot about that one! If you look at the picture of the back window, the previous owner put a "Black Label Lighting" decal back there. Probably where they came from.
