Buying for $5300. I do not anticipate spending more than about $1000 in parts and inspection. I am going to get used parts off of another black GM so I don't have to have it painted.

I am just going to repair it, probably get a black bear tune, and just keep it for myself. Probably do little stuff like intake and exhaust. Nothing too crazy though.
Sounds like a good plan, but we car guys know how a good plan can go ;). Best of luck man.

So I ordered most of the remaining parts on Friday (fender, bumper cover, headlights and fog lights) and they should be in today. I hope to have it all installed today after work. Only thing that I will need then are a few small trim pieces. Like the lower valance, trim pieces that go around the town hooks. Little stuff like that that you do not realize you are missing until it is back together. I will be taking pictures as I go!
