2011 Yukon Denali XL Mileage

I am looking at buying a 2011 Yukon XL with the 6.2l motor. What kind of mileage should I be expecting and do I need to run 91 octane in it?

I get 11.2 out of my 6.2L escalade but it's an 07 and supposedly the mileage got significantly better in the later years. I think by that year people with 6.2L's were getting 14-15ish. Yes you need to run the higher octanes with these 6.2L's.

I have a 2011 Yukon Denali with the 6.2 and I get 15.4 mpg. Been running reg gas for quite some time.

I have a '13 denali (reg length) w the 6.2 and get 19-20 on highway, 13-14 city.

2010 AWD, I get 17-18 mpg - on the road. Don't do much city driving.

My wife does all city driving and gets about 12-12.5. On the other hand i can get 13-13.5 Go figure.....
