I didn't do the drop. A friend of mine at work did the drop. He has a business on the side doing automotive work.

The bug gets me everytime. Especially with motorcycles.

Is the ride any different? Does the G5 tails need resistors?

I haven't noticed any difference in the ride, but I haven't driven it with any load in it. I did not use any resistors with the Taillights. They were plug and play.

All of these LED tails need resistors -- it's just that most (all, now?) come with resistors already installed in them. You shouldn't need additional resistors, though.

Yes, the G5 tails come with a resistor already in the harness with double sided tape on it.

Yep they sure do but it already comes with the G5's

Was also wondering if you ever tow or with the kids load it down quite a bit with stuff, and have issues with rubbing or anything else? As I also have kids and along with modding my 08 denali xl will be starting my 68 chevy shortbed fleetside project and may want to tow once in awhile. Sorry i'm a little bit lowered challenged as I've always been into the offroad scene. Kinda converting
