Hey all,

Total noob so please forgive the questions. I want to put some 24" 2 crave number 11 wheels on my Tahoe. They are 24x10 and I think a 30 offset. Will 305/35/24 rub? Local shop said no.

If I want to lower it, they offered Mac trac 2-3 kit. Ive never heard of thst kit. But two shops I spoke to offered it. Is it any good?
They said my ride quality would be the same since the suspension travel is still stock lengths. Is that true?

Can someone school me? Thanks in advanced!

I had 24's with 295/35/24 and they rubbed a little at full lock up front without a 2-3/4 drop and a little more with the drop.

So you will rub a little bit onto the liners either way with 305s ... nothing that can't be easily trimmed tho.

Welcome aboard. :)

this is the kit you want
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=87

keeps everything riding great and the rear springs with the shorter bumpstops by far the best riding.
also it keeps your autoride system working correctly.

Anything else just hollar and here is the same kit a sold a customer on here last week and he loves it

Mac trak 2/3?
Don't even bother with that drop kit brand!
Also you will rub with 305/35/25 at stock height, it will be minor though.

Yes that is the brand. Two wheel shops in my area swore it was good stuff. But I suspected otherwise since I had never heard of them. Thanks for the info!

At stock height I had 305/35/24's on my Tahoe and it rubbed in reverse/full lock only.

I had and have 24 x10 30 offset no rub and 24x9.5 18 offset no rub with 305 35 tires. i am dropped 2/3. Thats at full lock forward or back. But I did pull the rear liner in a little and the front was trimmed a little.
