I have been fighting this and can't find it. When pulling off from a dead stop I have a noise from the drivers side corner. Have new tires, had alignment. All fasteners are tight, tie rods not worn, show nothing that could be moving.
Does this year still have the steering shaft trouble in it that can cause this.

Thanks for any help

Describe the noise.

Have you checked ball joints?

Yes ball joints are tight, no play that I can find. I did change the swaybar end link bushings. They were wore somewhat, the drivers side more than the pass. So far hasn't made the noise again yet.

The noise just sounds like something is loose or bound up and moves when I take off. Sometimes I could hear it when I would drop off from one grade to a lower grade, (like from highway to driveway.)
Maybe bushings were the key. But only has 60000 miles.

If it is a fairly consistent growling noise or vibration, then I would suspect a bad hub bearing.
