You didn't by chance weight a wheel before you put them on did you?

Didn't have a chance to weigh the new stuff. I will next time they come off.

Robbie, I have rubbing on the steps (I think) and some rubbing on the inner fenderwell of the driver's side rear wheel. Haven't seen any rub marks up front, but definently rubbing noises from that area. Made some really unpleasant noises when wheels cranked (not even full lock) and in reverse. Sounded like it was tearing something apart.

I've heard of people shortening the front of the boards to run mud flaps. Looked on Youtube, but couldn't find a vid. Does the endcap come off and then cut the board to size?

I've heard of folks doing that too, but never first hand. I think there was a guy on the Cadillac forums that did it.

Try opening the door, letting the boards down, and then crank the wheel and turn. Then you'll know if that's the prob.
