2015 Denali - adjusting fixed cross rails to fix cargo box?

Recently purchased a 2018 Yukon and having the same problems getting my Thule box mounted. I'm not really a DYI guy with stuff like this. Anyone have experience getting this fixed by a professional?

It really is an easy process with other that the one tool, very well you will have everything you need already.
