Xenon projector low beams and 9005 high beams.

I'm thinking about buying a set of these Cree LED high beams and trying them out:

Can't seem to get the LED bulb to go in. Does it just require one to be extra firm? Anyway, the bulbs look similar but not the same. Here's a picture.

Any help would be appreciated.

Remember is a bulb don't break please

The original bulb secures by inserting and screwing in. The replacement bulb lacks the tabs necessary to do that.

Whoa...that's not the same! Looks like they changed the bulbs for the 2015is. Can anyone else with an i confirm they used these?

Our 2015s (early) had 2 push clips on either side. No twist tabs. That's a different bulb! Sorry

At least amazon returns are a snap. You just need to figure out what number bulb that is and get the led version of it.

Makes me wonder what else is different....

Unannounced changes are painted roof antenna and now different fog lights (that I know of)
