2015 Escalade aftermarket stereo?

I am wondering if anyone with a 2015 Escalade has actually switched their Nav/Stereo out for something that includes Apple CarPlay? This seems like the easiest solution but I haven’t seen what it looks like installed. Or can I just purchase a used, say 2017 or newer stock replacement. Would that work? Thanks

you should be able to swap in a factory radio & module from a later year but it will need to be programmed to your vehicle. other than that you need a meastro rr or other similar module to swap in a aftermarket radio. it just takes money either way

Exactly lol. Money what is a maestro rr? Are there any posts in here that reference this swap?

go to there website and you can "build" your system and it will give you all the part numbers needed, be sure to do it correctly there are 2 different steering wheels, and there are options to retain bose, onstar, rse, etc.
once you acquire the parts needed and are ready to install the RR it will need to be programmed via usb from there website.
