I replaced dam near everything in the fuel system costing thousands of dollars and my ECU and nothing has worked .

Has anyone had trouble getting rid of Reduced engine power mode with code P0191 and been successful ?

Car runs fine then goes into reduced engine power randomly. I've been surviving by carrying around a scanner and resetting the codes which temporarily brings the truck back to life.

Can you share your vehicle year and engine info. Maybe put it in your signature so we don't have to guess.

Are there any other codes that come up at the same time? What is involved with Damn near everything? New parts? Used parts? Why not have it diagnosed at a qualified shop before spending "thousands" of dollars? Did you have any recent work done just before this problem Checked all ground wire spots for clean and tight?

So for P0191, I get Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Performance. Have you measured the actual fuel pressure is at the fuel rail? Have you had someone with a TechII read what your truck is showing for fuel pressure?

I am assuming that in the bucket of “dam near everything” you replaced the fuel pressure sensor. If so, what brand did you go with?
