Purchased mine Dec 2022 w/38k and noticed the warpage before test driving. After years of deteriorating BMW rubber bits, I wasn't too shocked, but did find it odd to be warped. Then again, the Florida sun can be brutal. Ordered a replacement 10 Dec from local dealer for $120. Installation wasn't difficult, just trying to get a tool to fit under the hood without damaging the edge was the toughest part.

A bit intrigued to see how it has fared this summer sun and unfortunately, it's at the beginning stages of rippling again. I'll try some GummPhelge to hopefully soften the rubber but highly unlikely that this will do any good since it's attached to plastic that's actually warping...IMO the rubber is the collateral damage effect.

Hi everyone, this is my first ever post here.
I have a 2015 Tahoe LTZ. 90k miles.
I had a question if anyone ever tried replacing the cowl cover or its rubber seal?
Not sure if I am explaining it correctly but its the part where the wipers are fitted and the seal between this part and the windshield. There is no issue yet, just the rubber is a bit worn off and breaking off in places.

Something similar at this link:

Thanks everyone for the help!
As there's a chance even the new part will have this issue of warping, I'm trying to get hold of a rubber seal that goes over the plastic bit and the windshield. I'll post pics here once its done.
