Hi everyone, hoping someone in here has had a similar issue that can point me in the right direction.
A couple weeks ago, my Yukon started giving me a warning message that my left rear blinker has failed, I would get rapid blinking, but everything still worked. A couple days ago, the left rear tail light assembly stopped working completely, and now turning on my left indicator is causing my right reverse light to rapidly flash instead (the left tail light is completely dead, no turn signal, brake light, reverse light, or DRL).

I have already replaced the rear tail lights several times since I purchased this Yukon 4 years ago, so I can again if needed, but in all the previous scenarios, it would be the DRL that stopped working, but brake and turn signals still worked.

The right reverse light flashing when the left indicator gets turned on is what has me worried about it this time - I don't want to spend $200+ on another light assembly if it ends up being caused by something else.

Why change the assembly vs bulbs? Did you install LED’s? You may have a chaffed wire. Your truck is newer than mine but check the wires going to the back. Some run under the door sill and some are are under the truck.

2015 Yukons have the LED tail lights, that are all one unit, only part that uses an actual bulb are the reverse lights

those led tail lights are known for getting bad solder joints on the board inside and failing, if you can solder you can give it a shot to see if you can repair it, just open it up and look and check youtube for a 101 how-to-repair
