2016 yukon Denali, 46,000 miles, leaking strut...

Right front strut is leaking, was told they should be changed in pairs. Quoted $630 for each electronic strut. Is that in the ballpark of what these things cost?

Dealer told me to bend over and cough up $1800 for parts and labor to replace the two front struts so yeah sounds about right. I’ve seen others here say about the same as well.

I paid 1400 at my local mechanic. Replaced both, aligned, etc.

Search around - you can convert to none magnetic ride, you'll need sensor deletes.

How is it riding? The struts on my wife’s RAV4 have been leaking for years, and the dealer pitches replacing them every time we’re in for a recall. I can’t notice any performance decrease. When I do, then I’ll change ‘em.

You can pick them up for about 375 each online for OEM. Take the parts to a mechanic and have them install it for you if you don't want to bother installing them yourself.

Some amount of leaking is normal according to GM, is it actually dripping off of the shock?

I did mine today with a friend. I was quoted $2200, $1700, and $2100 to replace the front pair.

It cost me about $640 shipped from RockAuto, and about 5 hours of time to do it.
