Hey everyone! I have a 2016 Yukon and my passive lock/unlock buttons on the door handles are not working. I saw a thread with a similar problem but wanted to ask if anyone could tell me where the antenna for the keyless ebtry system is located? I wanted to replace it, but not sure where it's located. Thank you!

Assuming you have passive entry (ATH), there are multiple antennas for different parts of the vehicle.

The keyless entry door antennas are located in the left front and right front exterior door handle bracket. The antennas are serviced as part of the door handle assembly. The antennas are controlled by the keyless entry control module. When the exterior door handle button is pressed, the respective antenna will send out a challenge to the keyless entry transmitter, which begins the passive entry communications.

Thank you for your response. So does this mean I will need to purchase the door handle assembly?

Reading that, i think it means you need a more advanced scan tool to properly diagnose the problem, rather then just throw parts at it. Assuming both door handles have the same problem, and they both started doing it at the same time, i would lean more towards the keys, or the keyless entry control module. The odds of both antennas going out at the same time would be low IMHO. but to properly diagnose it, you'd want to be able to see the signals going back and forth in the computer network to verify what is working, and what is not
