2017 Yukon gas milage

Took first out of town trip this weekend. Yukon had only 200 miles on it so I am still varying my speed (not setting cruise) and and running the A/C. I have max trailering package and 18" standard wheels. Truck says I was getting 27.2 MPG last 50 miles with 28 MPG best mileage. What could be wrong with the truck? GMC says highway mileage should be 23 MPG.

At moderate open road speeds over a 50 mile stretch, it is believable that you got those numbers. Driving less than 50 mph over a 25 mile stretch of open highway in V4 mode (AFM active), I got close to 30 MPG in mine once.

You get better MPG than advertised and you want to know what is wrong? Lol!

Drive it harder. You'll then see advertised MPG or worse. ;-)

Nothing wrong with the truck. But I'm guessing the gas hasn't been to the floor very frequently lol.

Just checked mine. I have a pretty heavy foot. This is my around town/stop and go mileage

I did not drive less than 50 MPH. I varied my speed up to 70 MPH. Went through 3 towns with stop lights. Engine stayed in V4 most of the time that I checked.
