I’m looking to get a 2 inch leveling kit on my 2018 tahoe. I’m trying to decide between Goodyear wrangler duratrac tires sizes 275/70/18 or 285/75/18. I’m concerned about rubbing but I would like to fill out the wheel wells. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations? Thanks!

Or would I be better off with a 285/65/18 or a 275/65/18?

Dont think 285/75 would fit as 275/70 are pushing it. Here are the 275/65/18 ridge grapplers I had - they fit nicely without any rub, but I spend most of my time over 80mph, and these suck over 70. My next tire will be that size, though. Defenders...4b8ae99c7a98861aca443ef6976472b4.jpg14eabf599f9d56197ff21e1c5bf3b3d7.jpg

Out of curiosity what is wrong with the grapplers? Looking to put a set on my wifes denali...looking for first hand feedback.

Thanks for the reply and pics, very nice looking. I based the tire measurements off custom offset recs so it’s really helpful to see some pictures like these. Do you have a 2 inch leveling kit on there?

I’ve seen some posts on here where people say they’ve put 285/65/18 on a leveled Tahoe and not had any issues but I have also seen contradicting posts. Not sure if anyone has any pics or experience with that

Running 275/65/18 on the Trailboss wheels. 2" Rough Country front and 1" spacer out back. they are just big enough to make it look decent. No rubbing at all. Maybe a 285/65/18 would fill a bit more but didnt want to sacrifice the MPG. this size actually put the speedo 100% dead on with my GPS vs Speedo. 265/65s were off by 3mph at 60. Duratracs are a good tire, not obnoxiously loud, but far from quiet.
