We have a sluggish throttle response in our 2020. Any quick way to reset what it’s learned? In my f150 I can turn to accessory, depress throttle fully and slowly release. After 2-3 times it’s like a new truck. Anything for this?

that is normal try shifting in to M gear

D= eco M= power or turn on tow mode..

To me the worst part of this "feature" is that it is super sensitive for the first 1% and then.... dead. In my diesel the initial sensitivity is not there so I am just in the habit of mashing the pedal. I feel like I'd chirp the rear tires in the Tahoe with that approach.

Exactly its a "perceived" increase in responsiveness. AKA placebo. You understand what it does which is great but it is the same as just initially pushing the pedal harder. How far someone presses the pedal to leave from a stop is a reflex after driving a vehicle for a short amount of time. You can easily learn to press more initially and save $300 to put to something more productive.

Cool story bro......I'm done arguing this point.....I have the blackbear tune on my truck....i also have the k&n module.....the module enhances the tune via adjustability of sensativity of throttle response. End of story.....for me..it was worth the $$$ and I'd buy it again 10 times over.

i wouldnt say PLACEBO, as it does change a value within the system....

personally i cannot see the expense being worth it on a vehicle like this...

the more i ponder why someone would argue so strongly would be a case similar to my Diesel Truck...having the on the flay adjustability may be nice in certain weather conditions, it has a warm tune with very responsive low throttle input. sometimes tough to drive normally in wet weather or for the comfort of the wife.

I'm with you on this point, I have an 09 6.2 that is tuned by blackbear. The tune is awesome and I couldn't be happier with it, but like the first pressing of my gas pedal does absolutely nothing. If I lay my foot on the pedal, not even the idle will change, it kinda reminds me of stepping on a wet sponge... Pressing the pedal harder, it feels fine. I have talked to blackbear to see if the pedal can be more responsive, but something about stabilitrak and traction control won't allow for the pedal feel to be more responsive. I rarely press the gas pedal that lightly anyway, but I can see the appeal to the pedal commander module. I don't have one but have considered it.
