2020 Yukon XL with 5.3 will engine keep running ?

I was locking our dog in our running Denail and the alarm kept going off. I finally realized that our rig has a motion sensor in it and Harvey was setting it off.

Da wif kept complaining of this too... no dog but the kids were doing it... there is a switch in the upper console that shuts off motion detector in truck

Gotta buy it by the ounce bro. You get enough to stay up for a week, then sleep for a day, and make sure there’s enough left over so when you wake up you can go out and make money (sell more car parts) to buy the next 2 weeks worth. Way better price by the ounce too.

me and a couple of friends used to have a running joke of "how many days did you sleep this month" all these tweakers now how no clue how good the stuff used to be back in the 80's/90's before the government started regulating the good chemicals

Can’t lock with keys in it unless some is in it and physically presses the lock button on the remote. Door will not lock from outside if fob is in Truck. You can start it and take the fob with you then lock but it will shut off, I don’t remember the time limit but the truck shuts off on a regular start, person inside and idling after about an hour.

Extended Parking
It is best not to park with the vehicle
running. If the vehicle is left running,
be sure it will not move and there is
adequate ventilation.

to run for up to half an hour.

Extending Engine Run Time
The engine run time can be
extended by 15 minutes, for a total

repeated while the engine is still
running. An extension can be
requested, 30 seconds after
starting.
A maximum of two remote starts,
or a single start with an extension,
is allowed between ignition cycles.

I have never tried it, but can you switch from ignition to remote start? I had an aftermarket remote starter in a Toyota that allowed me to press remote start and then pull the key.
