So it dawned on me today, after a trip to Prescott Valley yesterday with an off-road group, why my mpgs dropped 1.5mpgs after I did the exhaust. Wasn’t the exhaust at all I think. I took off the front bumper valance the same week and bet that’s the cause. The entire front suspension is probably acting like an air dam. guess custom bumper gonna happen sooner than I thought.

Any who, here’s some pics of the Tahoes first off-road adventure. 21 vehicle group!

It’s a blast getting off the beaten path, especially in a Hoe. Many don’t expect to see a full size truck out there.
the group size is about 3x my preference.

Great pictures and looks like it was a fun time. Wanted to ask if you knew of a good spot to install aux led light pods or small light bar. I figured some bumper cutting would be necessary but i wasnt sure if you knew of a good spot for them.

Do you have the ls or Lt? There’s a removable panel in part of it that would be easy to do either. I’ll post a pic

So the yellow box is actually a small removable panel with like 6 torques screws. In the second photo you can see it removed. If I were to put my bumpers pieces back on, I’d mount the light bar there.

That seems too low to be useful off pavement. Are cowl brackets available for the T1s?

It’s not any lower than the fog lights on the silverados I don’t think. Plus you can get different styles or beams for lights.

Not sure what you mean by T1’s.
