I have had many P1098 codes on my 2021 Yukon my dealer can’t seem to figure out. Check engine light comes on, reduced acceleration message comes on the dash and cooling fan seems to run full speed. Dealer just topped off the coolant and sent me home. Before I get home the check engine light is in again. Internet mentions a bad coolant sensor but the dealer seems to know nothing about a sensor issue. Yukon is basically unsafe to drive on the interstate. Any help or ideas? Thanks

find another dealer, this problem is self explanatory.
most likely it is a bad coolant sensor or sensor harness, the issue is not uncommon
other possibilities are stuck or defective thermostat or water pump.

Second trip to dealer they agreed it is a bad coolant sensor. Seems to be no part availability. Two weeks plus without a driveable vehicle. I think GM could do better.

Contact GM and ask for some type of compensation, make this months payment, extend warranty, GM points to buy accessories or service, free oil changes. There are many things they could do.
