Hey guys, first time posting here. I have a 2021 gmc Yukon slt with bose sound system. I have two 10 inch subwoofers and an amp from my prior gmc sierra. The Bose sound system is good but the bass delivery comes through mainly in my face and upper body, definitely miss having bass felt throughout.

I’ve been trying to scope out where I could put them and have only seen 2 options that I’ll attach photos of down below. One option is to utilize the cargo door in the left side of the trunk with the stealth box but the boxes come loaded. The other option I’ve seen are flat sub boxes to go in the trunk. Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions. Much appreciated.

I have not but the best bang for the buck right now is the mini Memphis mojo 8”s they hit harder then any 10-12-15 I’ve ever heard and one single in a ported box with 800-1000watts would give you a lot of punch
I’ve seen Silverados with 2 under the seat and 1500watts flexing their roof their insane for the size. Sundown makes a kick ass 8” also but Memphis is just as good and cheaper I’ve always been a Memphis fan personally

Pics of the truck, please.

If you have captain's chairs in the second row, you could put a sub box between them.

Right, the JL box is loaded so you’d have to sell your subs and reuse the amp. You’d have to do all the same wiring whether you use the stealth box or not.

The rear cargo box would give you an extra 10” but you’d have to disconnect and remove any time you need the space.

If you ask me the decisions points are the JL loaded box gets you 90% of whatever 2 10”s you have, without sacrificing storage space, at a higher cost.

The 2 10” box will for sure be cheaper and maybe a touch louder and takes up a little space. It would also be easier transferred to another car whereas the stealth box is pretty much stuck in the truck.

There are at least a few threads on the stealth box, I have one, JL amp and think it does a pretty good job.
