What will change so significantly? Do you really think people are going to buy Toyota’s and Jeeps at the same price point (or more) as a Yukon or a Tahoe would cost them?

Ford has the best chance of eating at GM’s marketshare. I wouldn’t be suprised if the Wagoneer gets discontinued by 2024
I think Toyota and Jeep's actual market selling price (not MSRP) will be in line with GM products. And if GM's supply can't meet the market demand, consumers will end up purchasing alternatives.

I don't see the Wagoneer being discontinued by 2024 because if GM and Ford's supply cannot keep up with demand, why would Stellantis discontinue a product that shares a similar chassis as the Ram 1500? In fact, rumor has it that Stellantis will introduce another variant, the Dodge Durango using the Wagoneer platform to the market.

You can order a Yukon Denali XL 4wd for about $300 over invoice so about $74k and you can order a Grand Wagoneer for about 6% under invoice so about $79k.
I am talking about the real world with what the typical car buyer is being quoted.

You are cherry picking the two dealers that 99.9% of the buyers don't have access to

Show me multiple car dealer sites all across the country where they are advertising a Brand New Grand Wagoneer at $79k. Or even a Brand New Denali XL 4WD at $74k.

When they can't unload their inventory until they have to reduce it to a price where it no longer makes financial sense for dealers to sell them, and the dealers stop ordering them...they'll be discounted.

Do they have a cell phone or access to the internet? Are they banned from flying because they acted like a fool on a plane or in an airport?

You are further proving my point, my friend. You are talking about a very very small minority of people.

Dealer I have my order with has heard nothing of this early cutoff for RETAIL orders. The only data that is posted online is from fleet companies, so there's no indication that 22 MY RETAIL orders are done end of April. Historically, these big SUV model changeovers happen in the fall, it's way early.

Spoke to my dealer Friday. This is looking to become the reality. Chevrolet has plans to build 35% more product and is switching over to a build sold order first business plan. Ordering guides should be out in mid to late may. If anyone is interested.

I would imagine, if anything, GM would cutoff retail orders before dealer stock orders for a designated model year.

On the suggestion of my salesman (due to current trade in market) I put in an order for another Tahoe the day after I picked mine up (same exact build). He said it was definitely going to be a 23 at this point. For what it's worth I don't know if that applies to orders that were placed months ago.
