2022 Tahoe Chrome Remove/Delete Options?

Hello,

Purchased a 2022 Tahoe Premier (white).
Would like to delete/remove all of the chrome and replace it with black parts.
I will remove a lot of the badging to begin with but would appreciate thoughts on options besides vinyl wrap?
I would like to replace as many parts with black (in particular the front grille) as possible but understand that not be possible or could be cost prohibitive.

Mine is in the shop now. My grill, front trim and high use trim is getting painted, and the rest of the chrome is getting wrapped in vinyl. Cost was about $1200 total.

Replacing parts will be your most expensive option for sure. I got a quote around $200 to paint my chrome slt grill all black but I opted for the oem black gmc grill with body colored surround and it cost $700 on sale, then I spent a couple hours installing it. Don't think there's a lot of options for black grills on the chevy.

Paint won't be as expensive but there's a lot of work involved to do it correctly with parts removed from vehicle, painted and re-installed. Roof rails and door handles being big ticket items as the headliner and door panels need to be removed to get those off. Depends how legit you want the job to turn out. I had my roof rails painted in place by the vinyl shop and they masked the entire vehicle and it turned out great. An actual body shop probably would not do it that way.

Vinyl is the "cheapest" and will hold up for a good amount of time but it's not perfect. I just got all my chrome wrapped last week and most of it looks great but the door handles look like pooh (wrap guy said they would and wanted to paint them but I just didn't have more time to leave it with him) so they will be painted body color in the future.

Chevy actually makes a black High Country grill, I found out from the parts dept. but they cost over $1k.

They weren’t sure an RST grill would fit without modification.

Instead of going through the trouble of replacing everything, why don't you have all the components wrapped? I had my grill and "eyebrows" wrapped several years ago for about $400. Granted there are a couple of rock chips in the wrap but otherwise it has held up really well for 4 years. @R32driver 's suggestion is the way to go. I've seen "chrome delete" packages for $600-$800 and your truck is done in a day without any possible damage from the act of removing parts.

The parts and pieces I had wrapped in vinyl came out great, TBH. However, the grill on some of the trims is pretty intricate and may not come as as good. I'd also be concerned that the front end and the door handles would get torn up pretty easily. In all, having them painted and ceramic coated didn't cost me that much more, probably came out better looking, and will last a lot longer.

Prob the best bang for the buck is painting all front-end items and wrapping the rest. Wrap is not that expensive, and if it looks like crap in 2-3 years, you can get it redone back to perfection. Things get damaged and things can be fixed...
