2022 Tahoe LT Dynamic Fuel Management?

I've had numerous people ask me if my Tahoe has the feature where it reduces the number of cylinders in use on the interstate. My answer is always "dunno." I decided to look at the owner's manual and it says: "If equipped, Dynamic Fuel Management allows the engine to operate in multiple cylinder patterns, up to the full 8-cylinder operation, depending on driving conditions"

How does one know if their model is equipped?

Hmm. My window sticker doesn't have anything that says "engine description." Just see "performance and mechanical" and it's not listed under that section.

At the top it should say, 5.3 V8 with or without dynamic fuel management

All 5.3L in the Tahoes/Yukons have DFM, it was never removed/defeatured on the full size SUVs. It is a default design feature of the Echotech 5.3.
There were some Full Size trucks that had it temporarily not offered, but the window sticker would say "Not Equipped with Dynamic Fuel Management."
If you have a 21 or 22 or 23 Tahoe/Yukon, you have it.

Ok gotcha. Mine says: Engine, 5.3L ECOTEC3 V8

Seems like another reply indicates that all 5.3L do in fact have it so maybe it's just a given now and not a feature they actually list on sticker.

Thank you. Makes sense. I do see mine is a 5.3L Ecotech3 so that's good to know that it's just standard now.
