Hi,

We just purchased a used, 2022 Tahoe Premier. We noticed that when the car is turned on and sitting in idle, you can hear a constant ticking sound. The CarFax is flawless and the dealer even inspected the car, which passed.

I attached a recording, but has anyone seen this before and/or know how to resolve the sound? Maybe it’s nothing, just hoping to hear from someone. Thanks!

My 22 Denali makes the same noise. Have always wondered if it was transfer case. 29.5k miles and still does it, no notable issues so far, 29.5k smooth miles.

Does your truck have air suspension? My Tahoe with air suspension makes the hissing noise and a very slight ticking sound that seems to come and go with the hissing but it is very brief and not constant.

2022 LT with the same thing. Dealer says it’s normal and no issues.

My '23 Yukon Denali also ticks. Seems "normal."
