You can actually just wait 10 minutes for the vehicle to go completely to sleep too...assuming you aren't freezing yourself to death...But, I mean truly to sleep, lock the doors, get far away with the FOB, so the thing thinks its parked, and let it go fully to sleep. Then wake it up, this has been reported to work.....

Well they could at least let it be know to owners so they dont use the feature, or if they do they may have to have the battery disconnected and reconnected by a “qualified person/professional”….
Yeah, exactly. The info not to use and updates about the situation, at least.

Ok - so this is the second time this has happened. 2022 Tahoe Premier - 5.3L Engine - I remote started the Tahoe with the Chevrolet Phone App. Went out to my Tahoe, hit the start button and the notice bell in the interior sounded and the engine shut off, dash went black, after a few seconds came back on with a notice on the dash to press the start button, which I did - dash black again - back to the same notice. Here is a video -
Last resort before towing to dealer - disconnected the negative battery cable - waited five minutes - reattached the battery cable - hit the start button and everything worked again. I had to roll the driver's and passenger's windows down and up again as instructed then I was able to drive my Tahoe to work - It's a work around, but it worked. GM Should fix this glitch - but not holding my breath.

Now the dealer says the TSB has added the letter B (PIT5873B), and that in late March GM recommended getting it in to have the dealer reprogram the computer. Their next appt is May 5, hopefully happy cinco!

GM's fix will be a giant yellow reset button on the top of the dash so you don't have to open the hood.

Can anyone repost the service bulletin? I tried to click on the earlier document and nothing comes up.
