Anyone have experience with Classic Chevy out of Fort Worth / Dallas?

They seem like another high volume dealer.
I had a good experience purchasing my 25 Tahoe there last month. It was 4.5k below MSRP for an off the lot purchase, not an order. They had a $1000 fee for their ceramic coat and something, but no additional fees.

Rivard in Tampa and Laura in St Louis are 2 others... But unless I could go personally, I'll just stick with what I know. I've got to see, touch, and feel before I do any negotiating.

When we were in the process of ordering a 2025 Sierra 1500 SLT with the 6.2, we contacted both. Rivard refused to provide a quote and their dealer fees were very high (Florida). They said they would need to order the car first and would provide a quote after the vehicle was ordered - this seemed off so I didn't pursue it any further. Laura seemed like a well oiled machine but their numbers in the paperwork never matched their initial price quote via email. This was about the time the 6.2 problems came to light and we ended up ordering a 2025 F150 Lariat with the 5.0 via Granger Ford.

Interesting. We're still interested in the 2025+ Suburbans but we have time since the F150 will satisfy our needs for the near term. I think the market is going to change rapidly in the next 2-4 months - more $ off MSRP and dealer add-ons disappearing. No other manufacturer has a better 1/2 ton based extended wheel base SUV platform at the moment in my opinion.

The Pickup truck and Tahoe/Yukon markets are 2 different markets. A lot more latitude for pricing in the PU market.....

Agreed. That's why we decided to go with a 1/2 ton pickup this time around. We felt it made more sense to see how the SUV market develops in the next 1-3 years for our next purchase.

Now that we have a 1/2 ton pickup, we may not need an 1/2 ton based extended wheel base SUV. I'm also monitoring how inventory in the new 6th gen 4Runner and Lexus GX550 develops. I am seeing more inventory of those hitting dealer lots lately.

The hope is that another 1-3 years gives manufacturers additional time to adjust to the demand in the SUV market.
