I have 24s on my stock 07 yukon. It seems to spot fine and I can barely pick up on of the wheels when its off the truck... I would like to upgrade someday, but def not until these start to go. If its not broke, ....... ....... ..

the only issue i could possibly see is your stock brake pads with that much weight may wear down quicker then if you had a big brake kit installed.

chances of warping rotors, and killing the life of your calipers is certain the longer you run a stock set up.

I don't like the motto "if it's not broke don't fix it" the issue with brakes are the one time that is does break, could be very very bad, and end up costing more than the upgrade.

Thanks for all the feedback, some real good advice given here. I'm not surprised by the difference in opinions. Like my OP stated I know of two co-workers with a stock set up(tahoe, expedition) on 22's and they have had no problems. However, are they really cognitive of how their brakes are working. Maybe, maybe not, that's why i wanted some more feedback. I know there is a thread i think in the performance section about a brake, and rotor upgrade for fairly cheap and everything is bolt on. I'm thinking of doing that upgrade after i get the wheels. Thanks again guys, this is what makes this forum great.
