35's on an 04 tahoe

I have an 04 Tahoe on stock rims, it has a 3 inch lift and I'm hoping someone can tell me if I can 20's with 35 inch tires.... Any help is greatly appreciated

I think you need a 6" lift. That's what I got w/ 34.5" tires. Slight trimming as well.

Lift makers will generally give specific recommendations on tire and wheel combos known to work with their modifications. If you’re not the one who had it installed then almost every maker posts their instructions online.

Wheel size doesnt matter.

Tire diameter, width, and offset does.

That said it may be possible with a NorCal mod which requires some minor trimming and tucking.

Generally speaking people go with a 6" lift for a 35. A 33" tire would fit nicely on a ~2-3"

Agreed. Trimming or get a new custom front bumper; 35's just won't fit w/o at least a 6" lift. I have 33" Toyo's that barely fit (with trimming) on a 3" level kit yet the rubbing was really bad and...destructive.
