4 bulb mod for brake/turn lights?

any pics of the wire you added? want to do this to mine. got corner mod and 4 high. i like the little mods that no one would notice unless told but they make it stand out from the rest

LOL with the upper light mods in front you will be fitting in with the rest now.

howd you get the solder to stick to the board? one of my tails has aftermarket tailight cirtuit because i had to replace it and its different. will have to play with that one. my dad let me use his wellen 25w gun but i may go pick up a 40w from radio shack so i have my own for future projects as well.

Yes I will take a pic tomorrow of how it's wired, I dremeled the test points out so I had enough circuit to solder to, I dripped some solder into the holes first then melted and pressed wire down into it, seems pretty strong but it did take a few tries since I suck at soldering also I didn't solder to the bulb I just ran the wires into the bright side of the socket then stuck the bulb in, so far no problems except one of my cheap pep boys LED's burned out after two weeks

Hit up the scrap yard, I picked up some OE tails for $28 to replace the horrible altezza tails it came with, I used the circuit boards from those and tore them apart to see how the circuit works, give me an hour and I will post pics of the wiring

where did you stick the wires in at the top? like which slot in the bulb socket

If holding verticle the way it goes on the truck, the ground goes to the top inside and the power wire goes to bottom outside, just look into the bulb socket and you will only see 2 metal tabs that make contact with the bulb where the bottom bulb has 4, they are both dual filament bulbs so you are just tapping into the unused ( bright side ) of the top bulb

well now my other stock tailight curicit is bad i think. no signal and brake... good thing the other one i replaced came with the drivers too.

Haha damn Big Blue, I love your Tahoe! It'll look even better with this mod. I wish we had a TOTM contest for aftermarket, modded, and non-stock lighting.

haha thanks man! now im going to try and get another set of tails for stock curciut boards. the auto parts ones i had to get are different and i dont know how id go about doing this mod to them and i also want to redo tinted tail lights anyways
