4 hi lo Mod stopped working

I Installed the Painless 30802 4 hi lo Mod on my 1997 Tahoe about 2 years ago and I love it.
Just noticed that it has stopped working and has gone back to factory settings.
Fuse is good.
Relay looked a little corroded so I cleaned it up, but no joy.
Does anyone know the correct relay to use as a replacement?

Took my suspect relay to the local auto parts store and they were no help.
I thought the 1108 number at the bottom corner was the relay number but no luck on that either.


Anyone have exact testing method for this relay?
Like which pins get ground and 12V?
I'm not electrical by nature so real simple instructions will be appreciated.

Make sure the ground wire (the one with the screw) has a good connection. I relocated my mounting point from the sheet metal (had been bumped a few times to many, and had lost the tightness) to a bracket and everything is working as it should again. :D

Relay itself is bad.
I contacted Painless directly, they are sending me a relay, no charge.

Wow, that's cool! I'd bet it is a bum relay you had. I had my first one crap out too, found a replacement at A-Zone, and all has been good so far (That was 4-1/2 years ago)

Next time they bum out, I'll of course know where to look. Crap Chinese parts, what can you expect?

For future reference, 85 & 86 are your coil terminals (ones a ground and one is your switched power, doesn't matter which one is where). 30 is your power supply (from the battery that is going to feed your accessory) - the 87 is your accessory or accessories in this case. This is for the most part universal amongst automotive relays.
