This is great info here! I have been wondering how the lower control arm will be relocated and what will happen with the CV axle. Does all of that come with the Rancho kit?
Rancho discontinued this lift kit for the Tahoe... The lower control arm is relocated with the bracket. The Diff is also lowered and the axles have spacers too.
Any reason you kept your stabilizer bar connected? On my old leaf spring Wrangler I took it off with impressive articulation results. I just took it off my current Yukon as a first step towards improving off road capabilities. Just curious your thoughts.
I removed the front sway bar about a year ago for a couple reasons.
1. Broke 3 sets of front connecting links in a year. Two in the rear.
2. More articulation off road.
3. Suspension moves more freely giving a softer ride on and off road.
For now I am still running the rear sway bars.
