No, it does it at any throttle, but it only does it when the trans. is fully warm from driving on the freeway for 15 - 20 minutes.

that sounds more like the valve body issues where there is wear in one of the bores that house the tcc isolator and regulator valves. see a tranny shop and mention gm P1870 issues and they should know what to do if you choose not tear out your tranny valve body yourself. there are fixes for it.
