Well, I am overwhelmed with that list, especially since I could not pick half that stuff out if it was all on a table in front of me. I faced that a long time ago and knew at that time that I was WWWAAAYYY better doing the flush of the cooler and lines and the R&R. Gotta love the specialists.

Not going to rebuild it. Looks like the burning smell was a burnt 30amp fuse for the trailer brake (stud2).
I appreciate the guidance. I need to stop jumping to conclusions I guess but I’m just so frustrated with the sudden decrease in mpg when I haven’t changed driving habits and the truck is mechanically sound.

At least I can search for the bad ground that’s popping the fuse. That’ll make me feel better

Back to the fuel economy issue. Last time tune related work done? Plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, clean MAF, clean throttle body, age of the oxygen sensors....?
