4l60e transmission compatibility?

Okay so im in ned of a transmission, got offered one with 74k milles for $400. Now here comes the question, he is a reputable parts selle and sais its from a 03 chevy most likely sierra or silverado. Im wondering if it'll fit my 04 gmc yukon? He says all ill have to reuse is my neutral safety switch. Any ideas about compatibility between these trucks and the 4l60e? Thanks!

should be fine. its 1 part number from GM for the 2wd and 1 part number for the 4wd.

i have 2 4l60's in my garage (not including the one in my wifes GTO and our Tahoe) and they are identical. One game out of a 05 silverado, one out of the GTO.
