5.3l or 6.0l

Hay Guys,

Well how can i know if the car im driving is 6.0 or 5.3? as i bought it 2nd hand car and i really didnt know much about tahoe so i really didnt ask about it before.

Funny just looked every were on mine for somewhere it says it but cant find it either. Usually says on a tag under the hood but didnt see one.

Gas mileage could be a good judge.

I had a 6.0L in a truck and the best I could get was 12 on the highway. I can get almost 19 with 5.3 in my Yukon.

Tahoe is probably the 5.3.

There is usually a belt routing sticker under the hood. I was thinking it said somewhere on there. Could be wrong!

hard to tell, production numbers are close, I have a 4.8.
