the shocks just are not what I am used to (bilsteins) Many people do not run the dual shock hoop. I did cause I had the money to do so. Contact extreme suspensions and ask how much it would be to add the hoop some other time.

The brush guard is no longer made, it was a manic I think. There are a ton out there. Check stylin trucks or autoanything. Ebay is another good one.

I have no idea how the dual shocks feel and since have never been in a truck with them. So I won't know the difference. As funny as it sounds.. I just think it looks badass ha. And i'm sure theres some noticeable performance/handling pros to it as well.

I just love that grilleguard/brushguard you have I always have. I remember you from another forum and I always loved it ha.

got the same one as well, probably be for sale next summer when i order the new bumpers.

if your going to dish out any extra money, get the rear leaf packs instead of the blocks. im kickin myself for not going to the dual front shocks, looks so much better IMO.

Oh nice ok well yeah tell me the part # so I can know what it is if you could and yeah if you put it up for sale I'll buy it ha. Oh well now I'm hearing varied ideas of the leafs over the blocks. But I thought it sounded like a good idea aswell. Yeah I think I'm just gonna wait till I can do it right. Might be a month or two now though... =/

Avoid blocks, no mixed answers here. Springs are better, end of story. You are also correct in waiting an doing it right the first time. Stuff adds up quick with a lift and all the extras for that, drive shaft mods or new shaft front and rear. Rear needs to be longer. gears, tires, brakelines, misc. parts that you notice are broken, alignment, exhaust mods, leaf springs so the blocks can be thrown away or used as paper weights

AND ha, who makes a decent gear set for 4.88 gears and could you post a link? I can't seem to find this online. What should I type in, ring and pinion set?

the exhaust mod is for the cross over pipe, if yours is clear of the front drive shaft then its not a problem, but clearence is always tight.

Because chevys (as well as other trucks) sit with a rack from the factory you should be looking at 6 inch springs. you will sit just about level with that, considering stock the front sits anywhere from 1-2'' lower then the rear.

Im a fan of the yukon gears which are pretty strong from what i hear. The gears going in my 14 b will be custom gears, however if i were buying some i would choose yukon.
