2010 burb w/ 188k just started what i call shuttering going up inclines at low rpm. not sure if related, but after it started doing this i crawled under and found my trans dipstick tube had popped loose at the tranny. the securing nut was gone. the fluid is on the clear side and doesnt smell burnt. i have started monitoring temp and it gets up to 195 degrees after an hour of city driving. it seems to stay around 175 on highway. no leaks or looseness underneath that i can tell.
should i take to dealer or tranny shop ?? do any shops have a way to diagnose without teardown? just wondering what to ask for before taking in.
