700 R4 tailshaft swap, 2wd into 4wd?

Anyone heard of this? I've got a line on a fresh 700 R4 but it's 2wd. The guy told me all I had to do is swap tailshafts. Is that it?

LOL Yeah that's "it" ... I put it in quotes because technically that is all you have to do ... but to get the tail shaft out you have to remove everything internally, put in the 2wd shaft and change the housing to 2wd.
