Hey sorry everyone for not responding quicker. I bought the perfectfit kit directly from alpine. Its pricey but it makes it look as "stock" as possible. They actually give you spacers for the climate controls and those are pushed out a bit to make it all fit flush. As far as I've noticed the maps are up to date, but I live in Montana so I haven't gotten to test it out in a city or anything like that. It is designed to retain all factory stuff, so steering wheel controls, rear seat entertainment and everything is still perfectly functional. It can also be wired to your backup camera, but I had the installer bypass it to retain the camera located in my mirror. I'm pretty sure you can set it up to display backup on mirror AND screen, but I thought that was unnecessary. I really love the setup, I think it is one of the cleanest aftermarket navs available because of the perfectfit kit. Like I said, its expensive but Alpine designed them perfectly. FYI the brushed aluminum on the perfectfit is glossier than the trim that comes on the z71. Only thing I wish they had changed.

So any change of heart after over a month of experience with it? Pros/Cons?
