Aftermarket "lift" keys and cranking keys is the same exact thing, it just makes people feel special that they have spent money to do something that can be done for free.

I should clarify my post above...this goes for the OBS (GMT400) platform trucks. Newer years do require keys that are indexed differently to obtain more elevation.

Like some have said. Would be better to just save and buy a lift kit. Dont waist your money on torsion keys... we have the same ones on our trucks, they just dont look pretty. the body lifts have many things to do to make them look good. Need to make gap guards, need to FABRICATE mounts for the front and rear bumpers so that they dont have huge gaps in them. I put caps on fabricate because no one makes a kit to raise our bumpers...

In all honesty... A lift kit is a much better option. (just look at BowtieFreaks truck!!!)
