Any recommendations out there for new cats and Y-pipe on a '96 TWO-DOOR Tahoe? Time to replace them. Replaced the cat-back system about 2 years ago with stock. Now I need to do from the exhaust manifold back to those pipes. Prefer to go stainless if possible. Looked at Magna-Flow but it seems what they have is only for the four door models.
Planning to install myself so prefer bolt-up rather than cutting/welding but will go there if needed to get the right solution for my truck.
Will replace all four O2 sensors too.
Thanks!

Magnaflow sells kits for the 2 door last time I checked ... Mind you this was probably 2-3 years ago but I don't see why they wouldn't sell it . Your referring to the stock bolt on kit for the cats right?

2-door Tahoe- stainless exhaust

Donnie,
Thanks for your response. I called Magna-Flow earlier today and talked with one of their techs. He said the website is correct and they do not have a Cat-forward product for the 2-door 96 Tahoe. So....still looking around.

unknown at this time.
wait you need cat assembly? use the 4dr model from flowmaster or magnaflow. it was only supposed to be the muffler assembly that was different between the two. i even matched up gm stock part numbers of them once.

delphi or delco sensors as well.

2-door stainless MagnaFlow

Confirming that the MagnaFlow 23453 stainless cats/pipes fit great in my 2-door '96 Tahoe ($405 with shipping included from Summit Racing). For the cat-back I will go with Gibson 615501 stainless and report back when done with the installation.

2-door stainless exhaust (Cat-back)

Just a quick note that the Gibson 615501 kit went into my '96 2-door like a glove. The stainless looks good and the system sounds great too. With a 100% stainless system from the exhaust manifolds back it should be the last time that job needs to get done.
All four O2 sensors were also replaced. No more 0430 code with the new cats and sensors.

What is the diameter of the tubing on the Magnaflow system? My Tahoe's factory system pipes arent even 2".
