Tested the coil already... It tested perfect. The fuel pressure doesn't hold very well. Took 2 1/2 minutes to bleed to 30lbs. I'm redoing my crank sensor harness. I jiggled it and started hearing things start up, clicking and what not. So, let's see what we can come up with once that's done.

Ok, fixed the crank sensor harness... No bueno. I am thoroughly confused.

Next chore tomorrow is to pull the water pump, crank pulley, and timing cover to see if it jumped time. From the very beginning that's what it seemed to be...

unknown at this time.
maybe leave the plugs out and crank a bit to push out any fuel puddles and let the cylinder air out for the day and try again. also test the wire integrity of crank sensor harness. resistance wise. also inspect the mounting boss of stater on the block and make sure there are no cracks.

Yep. The only thing I haven't done is pull the plugs and crank it.

I'll try that first, but I really don't think it'll do anything. It's backfiring and trying to buck against the starter. Just like it's out of time. But at this point, I'll try anything. I guess if I have something destroyed, I've got a 5.3 that I'm gonna swap into it at some point. That may just get started sooner than I wanted.

It doesn't matter, I broke out anyway. Lol but no problems with timing jumping. I'm trying to find someone that can do a crank relearn, testing my ignition control module right now. I still think it's crank sensor related
