Hello all. I have a 98 Yukon and it is making a strange noise. It only happens when starting or stopping going straight or turning. Drive line and front end were checked mechanics could not isolate the noise. Sounds like it could be the frame creaking but noises come from all around at times. Have an 04 Avalanche that had a similar situation. The dealership lifted the body off frame and replaced the frame bushings under warranty. New to the Yukon so I'm not sure if it is feasible for it to be the same thing. Anyone have or heard of a similar experience? Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated!

I am getting ready to put it on the lift. Is that a common concern? Just bought it in Dec. And its my first. Looking to have fun with this one fixing her up!

Sort of, thinking about the laws of physics here. I saw a very short TSB telling dealers to just replace bushings with polyurethane units. It did not say which ones although it was listed under body/frame I believe.
