is this common problem on these.i thought my tensioner just went out but i replaced the tensioner and belt and a few days later aain tensioner went out and snapped the belt.
check your ac freon level. if there no enough freon the compressor turns it self off. if the freon level is okay then its probably a bad AC compressor. those compressors go bad usually in like 8 years or so
If the compressor is locking up then you need a new one along with other various parts since your system is probably contaminated with metal debris now.
