Very nice. Seems all the kits for nbs and nnbs do not make the truck level. Same problem with mine.

Looks very clean....I like the look without the running boards... Maybe think about removing or trimming the front air dam? That would possibly lessen the look that the front end sits quite a bit lower than the rear....

I see alot out there some level and some not. i guess i should have done a lil more homework.

Thanks! i think removing the running boards gives i a lil more "shaved look" along with the other parts i removed..

i will be removing the front air dam today. ill post a pic with it off.

Thanks again guys for the feedback!

I still have the isolators in. that might help bring it down a lil. but what really worries me is that any time i have more than 3 people in the truck, it seems to bottom out HARD in the back over bumps, even before the front touches the inner fender well (and the front has about 2 in of travel).

I put the kit on my self and seemed it like you could only put it on one way so i don't know where i went wrong.......

Mcgaughys shop truck sits lower in the rear.....

And get this,i called mcgaughys asking if i accidently got a 3in rear drop from a 2/3 drop kit and they told me that they use the same components in a 3in rear drop as the do in a 5in rear drop?!?!?!?!

The only difference is the shorter shocks...... (i dont get that)
I would the would think they would use shorter springs between the 3 and the 5.....

(i still dont get it)

I think i will have it checked out by a shop that intalls mcgaughys kits. if the say it looks right i will either bring the front up a lil or go with something like the djm rear spring.

(but still want to adress this bottoming out issue)

ANYONE ELSE RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM????

Nah ask Tim on this site, that doesn't sound correct.

Bottoming out is an issue on the 5" rear kits, the bumpstops/brackets is like 1" off the lower frame place where the bumpstop hits.
Pretty much means there is no suspension travel and only the DJM free travel mod will help.
Also McG lied to you, the 5" spring is completely different and way shorter/stiffer than the 3" coil.
I honestly like the way mine rides, pretty smooth just that there is not much suspension travel in the rear.
Can't help that as I am getting 24s and doing the free travel mods may cause the tire to know the wheelliners right off from pushing into the fenders too much in rough road conditions.
