Alright guys and gals(if any) lol
I've got a 1998 2dr Tahoe. About to get the 6'' RCX. 33's and some new ford keys. I dont wanna mess up the angles. So would it be wise to add 2'' ford keys? without cranking them? And i will go to a 35'' tire when i wear out my 33's. Im going to replace all the IFS parts. Before i lift. Seems like a better idea. But i wanna know about gears. Idk what mine are. I just know there stock. So can someone tell me what they would be possibly? Adn what gear would be best for 33-35 and at max 37's. I wanna have good take off and power. Idk if gears have much to do with power. So help me.

Keys don't matter you will still have to crank to clear 35s as for gears 4.56

If you want my personal opinion go for a set of Yukon gears.

Go with a 6" bracket lift (Dick Cepek, Procomp, Etc..), not the knuckle lift (RCX). If your mainly going to be running around town, I'd opt for 35's w/4.88 gears.

Well i plan to go off roading, Just more of a weekend wheeler. Mostly trails and some overlanding. Idk about procomp. Little higher priced then what i wanna go with.

You forgot Superlift lol but agreed A bracket style lift is "Older" by design but IMO holds up better to abuse . the only really good thing about Knuckle is that it is easier to resort back to stock. The bad part about Knuckle lift is that it tends to increase the track width of the truck
