I didnt.but the owner before me did.about 7 years ago.worked great till the compressor started leaking a year ago
also. do you know the delco p/n for the green oval cycling switch? i found an

on amazon that looks correct. id prefer an ac delco one but can not find the correct pn anywhere.

If the problem is a pressure difference problem you can try that switch but if that does not work the thermal expansion valve on the rear evap may be goofed. It helps the evap do the best it can giving its environment at any given time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermal_expansion_valve.

That is the site I used to get the pn originally.it was the wrong one though, round purple plug instead of green oval...could it be the rear expansion valve even if I have not used the rear ac at all(except for the performance test 2 weeks ago?)

If you performed a performance test under the exact same conditions and got the same gauge readings as before but the rear evap is not performing well then there is either an issue with the txv valve or an air door in the unit not working correctly. Getting the inlet and outlet side temps of the rear evap will help determine if the valve is screwy. It does have a fine mesh screen in it to prevent clogging the variable orifice.
